Please find below our lovely dogs, the heart and soul of Voyageur Outdoor Adventures. Some were born and raised right here at home, some are now happy retired couch potatoes, and others are still leading the way on the trail as lead dogs, team dogs, or youngsters in training.

Monster

5 Years Old

Monster is a Main leader, and one of the most cocky dogs you will ever meet. He is always serious and focused on fi nding the best way to get from point A to point B. He can get you through any and everything – blizzards, wind storms, open water, you name it – He is also the only dog that gets mad if he isn’t in lead.

Redbull

5 Years Old

Red Bull is a main leader that loves running with his brother Monster. He is known as the gas peddle, and is usually very happy-go-lucky when other dogs around him are serious. No matter what the situation, he is always smiling and excited to see what is around the next corner. Red Bull does have a pretty horrible ear piercing screech though, so don’t make him wait!

Nos (aka polar bear)

5 Years Old

Nos is one of the prettiest dogs in the kennel, and is an all around amazing dog! He loves attention, is always smiling, and is always ready to go get things done. He loves butt scratches so much that he is known to even scratch his own butt on the gang line during a snack stop. He may be the slowest to wake up from a nap, but definitely makes up for it on the trail!

Bang

5 Years Old

Well, His name definitely says it all! Bang is always jumping barking and ready to go, absolutely overflowing with energy! He may or may not need to learn how to settle down, pace himself, and relax a bit… He is a pure powerhouse and has broken more tug lines than we could count!

Rockstar (aka Rocky)

5 Years Old

Rocky is initially one of the shyest dogs at the kennel, but once he warms up to you he is one of the sweetest! He is always down to do whatever needs to be done to keep everyone happy – defi nitely oldest sibling vibes! he works hard, never complains, and loves giving kisses (especially before every meal!)

Ellaria

4 Years Old

Ellaria is a main leader and a huge sweet heart. She is one of the smallest dogs on the team and an absolute princess. She doesn’t like to get her paws dirty until it’s go time, and spa/pedicure days at the kennel are her absolute favorite!

Nymeria

4 Years Old

Nymeria is a feisty girl with a huge attitude. She is small but fierce and although she can lead, she actually prefers being in wheel or running with one of her siblings.

Gendry

4 Years Old

Gendry is a Main leader and a true power house. Wherever you need power, Gendry is your man. He will lead the charge up and over mountain passes without skipping a beat – and he will probably be howling at his teammates to pick up the pace the whole time!

Ramsey

4 Years Old

Even though he is named Ramsey, he is actually a huge sweetheart and is truly just happy to be included in whatever is going on. Ramsey is a solid team dog who always has a huge smile no
matter the circumstances and always picks up the spirits of dogs and humans around him. Such a happy boy!

Obara

4 Years Old

Obara is a main leader and one of the spunkiest girls on the team. She is always making sure her team mates are listening and doing what they’re supposed to, and if they’re not she has no problem barking at them to straighten up. She is the little engine that could and a true force to be reckoned with!

Tyene

4 Years Old

This season will be Tyene’s first year in the main leader pool! She has been showing a lot of promise and we are very excited to see how she does this year. She is very sweet but has a spicy side too – just like her sisters!

Rolex

8 Years Old

Rolex is a semi-retired dog. He may be the only chewer we have at the kennel and loves to pee on
everything, but he is a super sweet boy and we love him so much! Even though he is one of the
smallest males, he is always pulling 110% while in harness, and is one of the best wheel dogs
because he can easily maneuver over and under the gangline. Small but mighty! A true powerhouse.

Fezzik

1 Year Old

Fezzik is a yearling and a super sturdy dog. He has a bit of an attitude, and might need to consider taking some anger management classes before he doesn’t have any friends left! He has a lot of
maturing to do, but we’re still very excited to see what this year brings! He loves giving hugs, showing his brother Inigo the ropes, and playing with Stevie

Inigo

1 Year Old

Inigo is one of the shyest dogs in the whole kennel, but also one of the sweetest! Unlike his brother Fezzik, he does not have a mean bone in his body. New people make him nervous, and he is the true defi nition of a Velcro dog – He will never leave your hip and seems to think personal space doesn’t exist.

Calvin

1 Year Old

Calvin is a sweet boy, but definitely has a few screws loose. He is a goofy, overly happy dog with a huge smile and is always excited to just be included. Anytime we try to explain Calvin to anyone, we say “he’s just Calvin.”

Hobbes

1 Year Old

Hobbes is a yearling, and also happens to be one of the smallest dogs in the kennel weighing in at just 30lbs! She loves belly rubs and is a huge attention hog. (it’s hard to say no to that face and she knows it!) once she gets over her fear of getting her feet wet, we think she will be an amazing leader!

Susie

1 Year Old

Susie is in her yearling year, but already has a lot of leader potential! She is a crazy spitfi re that doesn’t know how to be quiet, and shows us every day that size doesn’t matter when you have that much energy!

Ricky Bobby (aka Ricky)

2 Years Old

Ricky is by far the biggest dog in the kennel. He is super goofy and it took him a few years to find his feet, but now he is killing it and is a very promising leader in training! He gets super excited during hookup, and most of his teammates fi nd him annoying because of it, but he’s matured a lot this past year and we can’t wait to see how he continues to grow this season. (Hopefully not physically!)

Cal Naughton Jr (aka Cal)

2 Years Old

Cal is the prettiest dog in the kennel, and he knows it. He trots around like the world is his runway. He is very confi dent, but does get easily overwhelmed. when it’s time to run though, he is a pure powerhouse and can’t be stopped. He is a great cuddler, a mamas boy, and loves tearing up the yard with his brother Ricky

Sexy Sadie (aka forever puppy)

2 Years Old

Sadie is Red Bull’s daughter, and she looks exactly like him, all the way down to the matching swooshs on the back of their necks! She has his endless energy too. There is no such thing as down time for Sadie, hence her nick name, the forever puppy. We have no doubt that she will be a promising leader, just as soon as she stops chasing all of the rogue squirrels!

Big Patty

2 Years Old

Unlike her sister Sadie, Patty has matured a lot this year, and will most likely be one of this season’s main leaders! She is the biggest female on the team, and is pure power. She loves attention too, and will fl op at your feet any chance she gets for some belly scratches.

Ghost

7 Years Old

Ghost is our only “sprint dog” in the kennel. He gets overly excited about everything, and hasn’t quite learned how to contain that excitement yet. He can be a little strange towards the other dogs, but he is really just a sweet sweet boy that loves cuddling, couch naps, and wearing extra coats when it gets *slightly* cold outside.

Gasket (aka Romeo)

8 Years Old

Gasket is by far the biggest flirt of the kennel. He loves hugs, cuddles, and being your weighted blanket.. and he doesn’t quite know what personal space is! He was self retired for a few years, but is now back running with the team at the young age of 8. He has been showing a lot of interest this year during fall training, so we’re excited to see what this year brings!

Retired / Couch potatoes

Tukie (aka mama / gramma Tukie)

11 Years Old

Tukie is one of the main matriarchs of our kennel. After helping train many generations of leaders and puppys, she is now enjoying the retirement life. She still does some tours here and there, but mainly enjoys spending her time roaming around the property looking for dropped kibble – if she doesn’t show up for feedings, she can be found in any one of her kids or grandkids houses, napping on their fresh straw!

Darwin

4 Years Old

Darwin is a main leader and also a forever puppy. There is no such thing as a bad day for Darwin, and he knows that when it’s go time, it’s go time. He is one of the most focused dog on the team. If he’s not leading you down the trail, you can catch him playing with his teammates, cuddling in bed, or just being the total goofball that he is.

Parsley

10 Years Old

Parsley is a retired leader and one of the original ladies of the kennel. She is small but mighty – although she is one of the shyest dogs at our kennel, she definitely knows how to put a dog in their place if they step out of line!

Guinan

10 Years Old

Guinan is a retired leader, and one of the kennels fi rst sled dogs that helped get this whole thing started! She is a shy timid lady in the dog yard, but on the line she is full of piss and vinegar!

Boudreaux (aka Booty)

11 Years Old

Booty is Willoe’s first sled dog, all the way from Colorado! He is an amazing leader and puppy trainer, but is a bit older now so he is living out his retirement years on the couch. He loves nothing more than truck rides, stealing full loaves of bread, and going anywhere Willoe is going. He is her shadow

Hannah

12 Years Old

Hannah is smart, loyal, spunky, and is starting her first full year of retirement this year! She is Joeys favorite (yes, Joey picked a favorite…) She goes everywhere with Joey, and you topically won’t see him without her by his side.

15 Years Old

Ace was one of the fi rst 5 dogs of the kennel! He is a 15 year old happy-go-lucky guy, and he still gets excited when a team gets hooked up for a run. During the day you can usually find him wandering around the property barking in no general direction and trying to not act lost

12 Years Old

Ariel is in her retirement years, and loving it. She thinks she’s the boss and she may or may not be right about that… she loves bossing around the house dogs – whether she’s stealing their food, bullying them off her favorite spot on the couch, or just growling at them – she always shows them whose in charge. She is the Regina George to Hannah’s Gretchen weiners.

Stevie Nicks

1 Year Old

Stevie is hands down the feistiest dog in the kennel. She runs the place, keeps everyone in line, and doesn’t take no shit. She spends her days making sure the property is squirrel free, which is a huge job for a little Jack Russel. She also loves running besides the dog team during training runs, barking at falling leaves, and cuddling on the couch snuggled between mom and dad
